Boo!
Greetings!!!

Hello to one and all! I hope this email finds you all well. The Murrell/Robinstein clan is doing well and the work is going strong. I just wanted to pop in and give y'all an update about what's going on.

We are looking forward to Session 6 beginning September 21. Dad is teaching a seminar for our enrollment week entitled "Was the Protestant Reformation from God or from Men". He has been able to get most of his material from the course material he has been working on for our course What is Real Christianity? which outlines the history of the 38,000 religious groups in the world today and how they ventured away from original Christianity outlined in the Bible. The course gives information about the teachings of John Calvin, Martin Luther and many of the reformers during the Protestant Reformation. We have had good attendance for our seminar so far, 30+ people every evening. This evening was our second night of the seminar, and tomorrow will be the last night. Please pray for success in drawing students.

We have been doing a lot of course work recently. Aside from What is Real Christianity?, we have been working to transform some of our Minor courses into textbook and correspondence course format. I have been working on transforming a filmstrip course which was written by Bill Humble about Archaeology and how it proves the Bible is true. The course Archaeology and the Bible talks about discoveries such as the Code of Hammurabi, the Dead Sea Scrolls and others which has silenced skeptics of the Bible and its trustworthiness. I have enjoyed working on this course and converting it to both textbook and correspondence format. I taught the course last session with the new format and it turned out great. We are hoping to draw students in with our elective courses (both in classroom setting and in correspondence format) and get them interested to learn more about the Bible, encouraging them to enroll in other courses. I'm looking forward to seeing how this will help us :).

We have already planned our next session, Session 6, for the year 2009. We are excited and ready to get back to teaching classes. Mom and I will be working together this session to create a third part to our Parables of Jesus series. Yes, MORE course work. I think I've got the bug for working on new material. :) I am enjoying it immensely. The more courses we can offer the longer we can keep our students interested in taking classes. We already have 12 students enrolled! This is going to keep us pretty busy :)

On the family side; Mom and Dad are doing great. I think they have gotten over ENS (empty nest syndrome). I think even I'VE gotten used to it too. Jon, Gina and Sean are doing well. Sean is already 3 months old and weighs 14.5 pounds! He's been smiling a lot more, which we all love. Clint, Rachael and Andrew are doing great. Andrew is now 8 months old and weighs 22 pounds! The Robinsteins are preparing for their furlough, they leave for the U.S. on October 9th. You'd better get ready to see them because here they come! They are looking forward to seeing everyone. I don't know how I feel about my wonderful neighbors leaving, but I'll survive :). Amy is doing great. She just celebrated her 19th birthday! Her apprenticeship is going good. She has been busy taking classes at the center and working on anything anyone will give her. No one has been really sick, just the usual sniffles.

Please keep our students in your prayers, especially for this new session starting on the 21st. Also keep the Robinsteins' furlough plans and their safety in the U.S. in your prayers. Thanks for your interest in the work. Feel free to send me a note! God bless!!!

In him,
Sara Murrell
